Logical Decisions is now free!!

As of January 1, 2021, Logical Decisions is now freeware. Version 8.0 is now free of charge and contains all of the features of the professional, group and portfolio versions and does not require a license key. It is released under the MIT license. To get your free copy of Logical Decisions, create an accout, select the Logical Decisions v8.0 free download and check out. You can also download the software and manuals without creating an account at www.logicaldecisions.com. Unless you have a special need, there is no need to purchase any of the other Logical Decisions products. In particular, students and academics should get the new freeware version instead of the student or academic versions. You can still get the legacy versions 7.2 and 6.2 from the upgrades page, but they will not work without a license key.

Logical Decisions is 30 years old!

2021 marks the 30th anniversary of Logical Decisions, which was originally released in 1991. As you might expect, the software has gone through innumerable changes and updates over that time, while remaining the premier software tool for doing Multi-Objective Decision Analysis (MODA). We hope to maintain that leadership into the future as Logical Decisions transitions from a commercial product to open source.
